What’s new in 2.2?
We wen’t all out this time, and we’re introducing some big ticket items in 2.2.
All new reporting dashboard!
The biggest item is an all new reporting dashboard! We have completely rebuilt our reporting area to provided you with a cohesive dashboard in one place, complete with metrics that will help you make informed decisions to drive more sales.
Optimized event queue.
This one is a bit more techy, and if we didn’t tell you about it you’d probably never even realize the differnce.
The way the event queue used to work is once an event was completed, it was left in the event queue with a completed status. The problem with this is as the event queue get’s large, beyond 1,000,000 events it slows down dramatically.
In 2.2 we are introducing a new database table to store current and waiting events, and then moving completed events to a historical table which will be used for reporting only.
This will keep sites running super fast as your lists get much larger!
